The Plaza Presidente Adolfo Suárez has, for a few days, a considerable improvement in accessibility, "as deserves the most central square of our town", in the words of the Mayor of Alguazas, Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver.
This project to improve accessibility consists in the creation of access for people with reduced mobility consisting of two progressive ramps that save the gap between Alfonso Ruiz Street and Plaza Presidente Adolfo Suárez, plus two side stairs.
On the other hand, part of the existing hydraulic tile sidewalk has also been conditioned between this new ramp and the Acequia Mayor de Alguazas on both sides to Avda. San Onofre and the existing playground.
Likewise, a paving of paving stones similar to that of the new cimbrado of the Acequia Mayor has been projected.
Finally, the width of the sidewalk in Gran Vía San Onofre has been expanded from street Schools to Zurbarán street and paved with cobblestone as well.
These infrastructures have meant an investment of € 37,828.33.
