| He is allegedly responsible for the crimes of robbery with force, damage and theft of a vehicle | In 2017, he tried to rob a home in Las Torres de Cotillas with a blank gun and fled in a stolen vehicle At the time of his arrest, he was serving a prison sentence at the Albolote Penitentiary (Granada). The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the 'Hidden' operation, an investigation started in October 2017 to identify, locate and detain the alleged perpetrators of an attempted robbery in a house in Alguazas, which has been settled with the arrest of one of the suspects as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of robbery with force, damage and theft of a vehicle. At the time of his arrest, he was serving a prison sentence at the Albolote Penitentiary (Granada). The investigation began in October 2017, when the Civil Guard learned that five hooded people had tried to access a house in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas armed with a short weapon, which turned out to be a blank weapon, several blunt objects and knives. Despite trying repeatedly, the fierce resistance of its residents made them give up by fleeing in a vehicle, but not before causing damage to other cars parked in the vicinity, using the tools and blunt objects they carried. Agents of the Civil Guard and the local police of the municipalities of Alguazas and Las Torres de Cotillas established a joint device aimed at their location, which was unsuccessful. The vehicle used in the escape had been stolen and was located in the neighborhood of 'Las Parcelas', located in Las Torres de Cotillas, inside which several tools remained, such as a mallet, supposedly used to access the home. The investigations carried out below allowed the identification of one of those implicated in the event, a known criminal in the area, allegedly related to several drug "spills" of traffickers in the area. The evidence obtained, both in the home, as in the rest of the damaged vehicles, as well as the objects intervened inside the tourism were analyzed by the Criminalistics Service of the Civil Guard-Department of Ballistics and Instrumental Traces. After three years of intense investigation and after obtaining the expert reports that determine the alleged involvement of the suspect in the crimes under investigation, the Civil Guard has proceeded to arrest him. He is an experienced 38-year-old male offender from Alguazas who at the time of his arrest was admitted to the Albolote Penitentiary (Granada) where he is serving a sentence for similar acts. The detainee and the proceedings ordered were made available to the Investigating Court number 2 of Molina de Segura (Murcia). The investigation remains open.
