On Saturday, the choir and dance group ALGUACEÑO MILL participated as guest band at the VIII National Folklore Festival held every year the association folk "Virgen de la Soledad" Malpartida de Cáceres, a town very close to capital.
Extremadura This group was one of the guests at the XV Festival of Folklore "Villa of Alguazas" which took place on Saturday 29 May and that meant the kick-off of the Festivities 2010.
On arrival and after being received warmly by Ignacia, Isabel, and Guadalupe Felix, components of the host group, and serving as guides, were able to tour the magnificent historic and artistic city of Cáceres was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
After lunch and a few hours of rest, set out for Malpartida de Cáceres, where the festival took place at 10 pm in the Casa de la Cultura.
According to the applause received, the public Caceres was delighted with the music, dances, and colorful petticoats of the girls, and at the end of the performance, all were congratulations and praise.
The Chorus and Dance Group Alguaceño El Molino has been shown in a note their deep gratitude to the Virgen de la Soledad Group for their kindness and their treatment during their stay in Extremadura, where they enjoyed great food and comfortable accommodation.
The next morning, the members of The Mill set out for Toledo where forces replenished and could see the most representative of this city.
