Members of the Youth Association of Alguazas Joval interview its president, Jose Gabriel García Bernabé (25/01/2011)

On Tuesday January 25 at the Youth Center Joval, four members of the Youth Association Joval interviewed the president about to address frequently asked questions and information of interest.

Joval president, Jose Gabriel García Bernabé, kindly hosted partners answering all the questions young people raised.

Do they show young people the same commitment as before?

Is it still with the same enthusiasm?

Obviously, young people and partners Joval Alguazas feel an inexplicable passion for the entity.

The commitment of young people is maximum and that is what helps to continue and the key that opens the door to success.

The illusion is always a plus.

But what our organization can not have is the help of our council, which marginalizes us as an association and does not act or look for youth.

This is perhaps what makes young people lose hope will gradually since no activities are organized as before and the participation is lower, but thanks to the commitment of all members, the association is working properly.

Clearly, the city has a goal they do not get: the disappearance of Joval.

Is it affecting young people do not realize the fact gatherings or other activities as before?

Yes, the fact can not go out of our headquarters to develop an activity is causing the participation and variety of activities is lower.

Therefore it affects us.

And our town is glad this is what they want.

We've been exactly a year without performing an activity in municipal areas, except for the anniversary gala, and not because we have not requested activities.

What we want to claim is that we have the right to use these facilities because our parents are paying the municipality, its citizens and, therefore, are ours.

Has something changed in the relationship with the local consistory government today?

Did the demonstration effect against the council?

Absolutely nothing.

Business as usual.

Marginalized by our own council.

We can observe yourself, how many Joval news displayed on the website of "Alguazas?

or how many activities we have done in 2010 with support from the municipality?

And worst of all is not that but think that removing all support for young Joval will cause ceases to exist, because that is what gives us more strength to continue.

The statement made no effect referring to the change of positions, since the only thing accomplished was having a meeting in the session with the entire team of popular government, assume certain commitments, and they, on the contrary, clean hands, no admit anything and get my personal disqualification.

On the basis of libel, the current government Alguazas attacked and reduced the value of our organization, a strong entity, with over 300 affiliates, representing the youth group of Alguazas.

What rating would you give the action by the Department of Youth, politically speaking?

One of the questions I've done it many times it is there in Alguazas youth council?

Perhaps this is the council where more things can be done, young people need initiative, and this council does not.

We need a change.

What is your position on this situation?

What do you suggest?

My position is that we are valued and recognized youth, while helped.

We only ask that, like other associations, the local consistory help us and support us, because it is the best way to improve, helping young people and build a future.

But, as we see with this government team will be virtually impossible as they change their minds and do not care that parents and young people are against its discriminatory measures.

Several parents have come to me and asked me to act in any way, and has been recommended as the formation of a political party.

Are you going to follow the advice of parents and youth, creating a political party?

After having raised and discussed during these months, I decided to start up a political party with the collaboration of youth alguaceña.

We want to make claims to the problems we had with the popular government.

Alguazas needs change.

Now we're working to offer a political project that promises.

In early February the party officially present.

So what will happen to Joval?

I will devote myself to politics but Joval would be detached from it.

Joval is a non-political youth organization that has members of various ideologies to which we respect, therefore, the association would be on the sidelines and continue with normal activity.

In the next few dates I will give the presidency in an assembly.

First we will renew the policy and working groups, to thus change the working method of the entity, so that partners have a close and more participation.

Before I leave all the work to provide new management and leave all the work done to make everything easier.

Is it a commitment to placing Joval Spanish flags that are in our municipality?

True, but it should be noted that it is a totally apolitical.

From June-July, when Spain disputed the World Cup, many national flags placed by the municipality, with the aim of uniting all the Spanish municipality.

Later, we continue putting more flags.

The latter is the one in the round of Ceuta, a national flag over 8 feet long.

This wave of flags is due to a very important value that our organization is to provide young people, the Spanish, because we are Spanish and should be proud.

If nothing else, the interviewers took leave of the President and thanked him for his cooperation.
