The more than twenty participants Escarabajal David won the first prize of 600 euros.
This weekend the town streets were flooded with artists recreating different streets of the town in the Painting Competition IV outdoor launched the Department of Culture alguaceño Hall under the theme "Alguazas, their streets."
Were more than twenty participants from different parts of Spain, who immortalized the town, however, only the top three were awarded.
The jury was not easy since all the works were of high quality and each of them representing the particular point of view of the author.
Simultaneously with the development of this activity took place in the plaza Tierno Galván an initiative about the painting for children.
So with the students of the course "Monitor leisure" which launched the council of Training and Employment Alguazas children were entertained unleashing their imagination through the realization of designs under the supervision of students.
Thus, after more than six hours preparing their papers were delivered, on 17.30, and the jury met to decide what would be their opinion.
The members who formed it were as President, the Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora, the painter Murcia, Pedro Serna, the alguaceña Bachelor of Fine Arts, Lidia Bernal, who is also licensed in the field, Manuel Alcaraz, and as Secretary, Maria Rodriguez .
Thus, after taking in the City Library for an hour the pictures displayed, all went to the hall of the Casa de la Cultura, where after reading the act was made public the decision of the jury to all attendees between who were the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó.
So the committee decided to award the first prize for David Escarabajal, worth 600 euros, a second award for Javier Marin, with 400 euros, and a third prize, Francisco Pellicer, with 300 euros.
