The local baseball team and softball "Alguaceños" has new facilities for their training in the municipality.

Alguazas City Council in its efforts to promote good practice in sports and reiterated support for associations and clubs, through the Department of Urban Development, launched the improvement of the municipal course where they train.

This public-use sports facility and the municipality, located in the hamlet of Huerta alguaceña Up, has been remodeled with a series of improvements that have included soil conditioning and extended by pouring sand or albero, batting tunnel construction approved in accordance with current safety regulations and building a house for users to store their belongings.

It should be noted that the local team, "Alguaceños" was one of the top 12 combined in Spain that participated last October in the National Baseball Championship in its category fry.

Alguaceños were also the youngest members of all the teams that attended the meeting.
