The work was presented at the House of Culture Alguazas attended by the mayor of José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and the councilors of Culture and Social Services, Isabel Zamora and Dori Bermudez, respectively.
The House of Culture was filled with attendees at the launch of "Under the shadow of oblivion. The movers and shakers of history 'of teachers alguaceños, Rita and Jose Miguel Matencio Matencio.
The event was attended cultural Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora, and the mayor of Social Service, Dori Bermudez.
Before the presentation the Mayor addressed a few words to the audience in which assessed the work as "very important for Alguazas" because it contains content that "if it had not been materialized and preserved would be lost," said José Antonio Fernández Lladó at who thanked them for their work while he urged them to "keep working."
He also offered help from the City Council to "work together and continue working for the people of Alguazas" concluded the Mayor.
According to the authors explained the idea for this book began on June 9, 2009.
In preparing the book, besides an intense documentary, oral interviews conducted about 70 elderly people, evidence that later expressed in the book.
The above reports reflect personal stories of movers and shakers, they have framed their daily lives in historical moments like the Republic, the Civil War and the Spanish Civil War.
The work focused initially on the geographic scope of their authors Alguazas but then decided to extend, for the testimonial, other municipalities in Murcia that range from the near and Molina de Segura and Ceuta are farthest away as San Javier.
Following the presentation of the work the authors gave an edition of the book to each of the protagonists of the interviews that attended the event.
Eventually offered a small agape to the wizards.
