Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, together with the Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs of the IMAS, the Councillor for Social Services and the president of the Abraham Project, have delivered the certificates.
Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, together with the Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs IMAS, John Brown, the Councillor for Social Services, Dori Bermudez, and the president of the Abraham Project, Rafael Sanchez have delivered the diplomas to those who have completed the stitching on Alguazas.
So alguaceñas 15 attended the Meeting Room of the Town Hall to collect their certificates.
All of them have been very grateful and have asked to do more courses like this or related thereto.
The course has been organized by the City of Alguazas, through the Department of Human Services and the National Association of Abraham Project.
The course has enjoyed a period of one month, every morning from 9.30 am to 13.30 pm from Monday to Friday in the multipurpose room of the municipal town Paco Serna.
Classes are taught by Prof. Mercedes García.
The main objective of this course is to teach sewing and providing training in this area while helping to prevent social exclusion.
The students have been selected by City Council Social Services Alguazas.
Remarkable fact is that there has been great demand by the alguaceñas on this course since it has generated great interest in its realization.
For their part, both the Mayor and the Councillor for Social Services wished to thank the collaboration of the National Association of Abraham Project has provided industrial sewing machines, irons and made available to the teacher who taught the workshop.
