We are now almost May, and the City of Alguazas is without municipal budgets for the year 2011.
This means that in a critical economic time, the PP government team is unable to produce a single measure to address the financial hardship that has led to its management in this term.
With an extended budget, approved in December 2009, the PSOE Alguazas complaint does not have a project to the 2011 Budget.
Because it is impossible to know, among other things, which are projected to generate revenues for this year and therefore know what payments can be met, as the government of José Antonio Fernández Lladó has many outstanding debts accumulated during the four years.
The PSOE and Alguazas neighbors, in this situation, we wonder: might it be that the debt in 2011 is even greater than that known in 2010?
Another question: Could it be that our Mayor, Mr. Lladó, try again surprise us with the excuse to expand the City Council to include in the budget the purchase of a house owned by his wife and his brother, as it did in 2008 ?
In addition, budgets have not distort the real economic situation of the town hall and, when preparing a new budget is required to accompany the situation of the previous year's accounts.
The PSOE, much fear that this is the main reason: the PP wants to hide at all costs the debt of almost four million euros that appeared in last year's budget, at least until they pass the municipal elections of May 22 .
The PSOE, we believe that doing so is highly irresponsible.
The approval of budgets is vital if they want to be involved, for example, many municipal services, which can not continue to rely on borrowing to pay current expenses.
In short, you can not continue as if nothing is happening with the sole intention of avoiding a possible electoral damage.
It's time to take this serious situation with a sense of responsibility and seriousness it requires.
It's time to change hidden by transparency.
Therefore, the PSOE has been claiming for months conducting an audit of municipal accounts, transferring its results to the neighbors, that after all are the ones who end up paying for this administration so disastrous.
It's time to make proposals and decisions that will ensure the future of the municipality.
It's time to end the wasteful policy of aggrandizement and propaganda without realizing that projects like the tango team president Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó.
