The Old Tower showcases a photographic exhibition about life in our region in the middle of last century.
On Sunday 13 November at 17.00, was inaugurated the photographic exhibition 'Photographs of the Murcia Region, 1951' by the French artist Jean Dieuzaide, who presents an exhibition of photographs of the Murcia region captured in the second half of last century.
Through these images we can see scenes of daily life in the early 50: Lorca pottery in the market, the shipment of lead in the port of Cartagena, wagon journeys ...
The works belong to the Historical Center Photo of the Region of Murcia (CEHIFORM), whose work for the collection and recovery of old photographs enrich the artistic heritage while inviting us to have the work of the 'prying eyes'.
The exhibition will run until Sunday, December 4, each weekend.
The schedule is: Saturdays and Sundays, from 10.30 to 13.30 and from 15.30 to 18.00.
Outside these times and always by appointment, the Department of Culture offers tours to groups of visitors on any other day of the week.
