Event schedule against violence
To help raise public awareness in the fight against gender violence, the Councillor for Equality and Social Services of the City of Alguazas, Maria Dolores Hernandez Garcia, visited the weekly market of the Barrio del Carmen which has delivered a loop and a document with equality legislation.
At 11:00 am, in the hall of the House of Culture, the municipal mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality, the president of the Women's Association and members Alguazas municipal corporation, has received students from 3 of the ESO IES Villa de Alguazas and students of the training cycle Higher Education Degree Child Vega CES Media.
Students have made posters read themselves against violence.
The Councillor for Equality, on the other hand, read a manifesto institutional gender violence and the mayor of the municipality closed the ceremony with a speech.
At 12:00, in front of the consistory, has held a minute of silence in memory of victims of gender violence.
