The Regional Government will invest almost EUR 7 million Alguazas (30/11/2011)

The 2012 regional budget include, among others, a strong investment in new sewage treatment plant and a game to open the Day Centre

The Regional Government has approved the budget of the Autonomous Community of Murcia in 2012, the amount rises to 4,370 million euros, up 10 percent from the year 2011.

However, investment in the municipality of Alguazas has increased more than two million euros with respect to this year.

A 2011 also envisages an increase of up to 16 percent compared to 2010.

In 2012, 6,844,481 euros Alguazas receive the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

In 2011 the quantity amounted to 4,631,400 euros.

On average, over the next year 2012, the Regional Government will invest in each alguaceño 749 euros, according to official population figures for January 1, 2010, whose total number of inhabitants in the municipality is 9146 people.

In 2011, the amount per capita was 515 euros.

Nearly six million for the Wastewater Treatment

Six of the seven parties that could break the budget will go towards financing the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Station (EDAR) Alguazas, whose budget amounts to 5,942,598 euros.

This is a modern infrastructure that is the biggest financial investment made in the municipality in its history.

Concert with the Day Centre

Social Services will also receive funding from these budgets through three programs.

On the one hand, the regional government allocated 162,819 euros to the item 'Basic Features of Social Services' and 4,000 euros for the prevention of drug addiction.

New this year is 93,100 euro grant from the concert between the council and the community to operate the Day Center

Safer Streets

The 2012 budget also contemplates a batch of 417,657 euros to continue the Public Safety Plan in the municipality of Alguazas, to ensure coexistence and security in our streets.

Moreover, the autonomous region has allocated a budget of 150,000 euros to the collector's Saladar Alguazas to collect wastewater from the hamlet of Apulia and the WWTP will Ceuta.

And finally, it is also contemplated in the budget the amount of 74,307 euros for the routine maintenance of roads that run through regional ownership of the municipality.
