The cartagenera teacher Ana López Aguilar, winner of VI Short Story Literary Contest "Stories in the Old Tower" Alguazas (23/12/2014)

"The fifth lady" is the title of the work of Ana López Aguilar cartagenera teacher who won the first prize in the sixth edition of the Short Story Literary Contest "Stories in the Old Tower" Alguazas that, on an annual basis and set in its subject in the emblematic medieval fortress town, organizing and funding the Cultural Association "Amigos de la Torre" population.

In addition to this first prize worth 200 euros a prize of 100 would desert.

The distinction to an extremely knowledgeable author of majestic alguaceño bulwark were granted unanimous basis by the Jury constituted for this purpose and composed, respectively, by the President, Secretary and Coordinator of Cultural Activities of the organizing company, Antonio Matencio Orts, María Rodríguez Martínez and Carolina Matencio Pons, as Secretary.

A huge number of works from authors throughout Spain and high quality both stylistically and argument were presented at the 2014 convocation of this prestigious and consolidated competition which held its ceremony awards on the night of Thursday, 18 December at the Casa de la Cultura alguaceña under the chords of wind quintet "Molina Brass" which, from the neighboring town of Molina de Segura, enlivened the event playing a select repertoire of both Spanish music as marking Christmas flavor.

The "Friends of the Tower" has recently published a book compilation of the winning stories in the first five editions of the National Competition

Copies of the compilation book of prose award-winning creations in the first five editions of this competition, which has recently edited the collective promoter of it- be delivered, as a gift, both to each of the winners of these calls 2009-2013 as the whole public attending the event.

Sixteen years promoting and spreading the great historical and artistic significance of the Old Tower Alguazas
