The Department of Culture Alguazas City Council held a trip past Saturday 25 and Sunday April 26 to Salamanca, Avila and Alba de Tormes.
This proposal was framed in the program of "Book Day 2015" in the municipality, which this year is dedicated to the commemoration of the fifth centenary of the birth of Saint Teresa.
The expedition departed from Alguazas Saturday and spent the day in Salamanca, including night.
There, accompanied by an official guide, they visited emblematic enclaves of the city as the Cathedral and the University.
On Sunday alguaceños went to Alba de Tormes, the latter the tour came at the convent of the Discalced Carmelite nuns where the remains of Santa Teresa.
Later they moved to Avila, where they enjoyed a guided tour of the city and a meal at the "Palacio de los Velada" restaurant.
