Students of 1, 2 and 3 of the That's IES Villa de Alguazas that make up the program Nueve.e in the municipality of Alguazas have received a number of techniques that encourage the joy and develop optimism and good humor in the workshop of laughter therapy coordinated by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia and supported by the Department of Youth and the City of Alguazas.
"The workshop has made us better acquainted among the various classes of the center.
Furthermore, we are attuned very well, "says José Antonio Yagües.
During the two hours of the workshop, the kids have to lose their fear of public speaking practice and games typical of other children's ages, and run around the circle of chairs to the rhythm of music, or try to speak with the tongue twisted inside the mouth.
"It was a great experience because we laugh a lot mostly clowning.
In addition, little by little we have more confidence in ourselves, "says another student.
For his part, Councillor for Youth, Alicia Parejo, has been very pleased with the participation of young alguaceños who have attended this program.
"In the council work for local youth to go out and interact with peers.
We are also keen for this group to mobilize and demand more organized activities such as Nueve.e Program.
