Alguazas wanted to pay tribute to the victims of terrorism and has done putting this name to a town square.
This is the plaza next to the new premises of the local police station in the municipality.
The Minister of Presidency, Pedro María Reverte, and the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, accompanied by the Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, Juan Antonio Morales, members of the corporation and many residents have opened this square with which reminding all those who have died in terrorist attacks.
Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, explained that in recent times Alguazas City Council has made several improvement works on the Plaza in order to recover this space for all residents.
In addition to what has been done, it is expected that in the forecourt of RENFE, attached to the new Plaza Victims of Terrorism, will build a multifunctional building with two floors, will house an exhibition hall, conference room, cyber, workshop, an entertainment area and a multimedia library and reading room.
Next to him the other building that is on the esplanade, is intended for a hostel and a cafe.
