Lorca was the city chosen by the female students of Alguazas gerontogimnasia to go on tour and share a day of conviviality.
The trip started at 9:30 am in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where the campers have been dismissed by the Councillor for Social Services, Senior Citizens and Equality, Dori Bermudez.
The tour, which has been organized by the Department of Social Services Alguazas, has begun a tour of the Fortress of the Sun where they have visited, among other things, the Torre del Ram, stables, and Archaeologist Corner Alfonsina Tower.
After dinner the travelers have completed their tour with a visit to the main monuments of the city.
Gerontogimnasia Course is organized and funded in part by the Department of Social Services Alguazas and has a physiotherapy service.
The course is aimed at people aged 65 or under who have proven they can not do other exercise.
