A year's Gala Presentation of Women and Election of the Queen of the Feast of Alguazas 2010 was again a success.
About 3,000 people gathered in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to watch the parade of seven women and seven young children.
Igor Maneiro, presenter 7 Region of Murcia, has been commissioned to conduct this gala, in which Noel Yagüe, Queen of the Feast of Alguazas 2009, has crowned María José Gómez Sánchez as Queen of the Feast of Alguazas 2010.
Together with José María Fernández have been Carina, Cristina González, Patricia Hernández, María Dolores Molina, Marina Mendoza and Maria Segura, as young ladies.
The ladies seven children have been Paula Lopez, Natalia Hidalgo, Andrea Marín, Julia Martínez, Nuria Rizo, Benedict Montero and Meritxell Vázquez.
The evening was chaired by the Mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the councilor of Celebration, Silvia Ruiz and other members of the government team.
Along with them have been members of the jury, who have been in charge of choosing the Queen of the Festival.
The jury, composed of members of the Festival Committee, Queen, 2009 Noelia Yagüe, faculty and staff in fashion and beauty expert, gave their votes the day before the gala in a fashion show involving all the candidates, but the verdict was not made public until the gala on Saturday.
Manuel Merlos, Town Clerk of Alguazas was responsible for guarding the envelope with the name of the winner until the time of going public.
After meeting the Queen of the Fiestas de Alguazas 2010 the band 'The Munidal' put the finishing touch to one of the most emotional nights of the Festival of Alguazas.
