On the occasion of World Heart Day, the City Council will inaugurate next September 29 a healthy circuit at the entrance to Alguazas, next to the Health Center.
On Saturday, September 29, on the occasion of World Heart Day, the City of Alguazas will open at 10:30 a "Paseo del Corazón", a healthy circuit located at the entrance to Alguazas, next to the Health Center.
This initiative was born as a result of the collaboration between the Sociedad Murciana de Cardiología, the Alguazas Health Center and the Alguazas City Council, and its main objective is to raise awareness among the population about the importance of cardiovascular prevention and the introduction of healthy habits.
The circuit will be located at the entrance of Alguazas, next to the Health Center and the facilities of the companies "Alcurnia" and "Marvimundo".
"It is an accessible, well-lit, safe route that will allow anyone to walk at least 30 minutes several times a week," explains the President of the Murcian Society of Cardiology, Eduardo Pinar Bermúdez.
"We think it is an initiative as beautiful as it is necessary, since we want to promote healthy lifestyles, and that is why we have collaborated on this project, in which, in addition to designing a healthy journey, we will post messages about the importance of exercise to prevent cardiovascular diseases, "said Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver, Mayor of Alguazas.
The President of the Murcian Society of Cardiology, the Mayor of Alguazas and the Coordinator of the Alguazas Health Center will take part in the opening ceremony.
Afterwards, the circuit will be carried out as a group by all the participants, as well as the delivery of informative material and a small snack.
