The Mayor of Alguazas, Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver (PSOE), today sent to the opposition groups (PP and UXA) his proposal on salaries and salaries for the 2019-2023 legislature, after the two groups came together to present some amendments in which, as the first algilceño mayor denounces, "the only objective was to block the City Council".
"We have been holding false lies and figures by the opposition for many days to discredit us, it seems to be indecent for me to increase my dedication to the City Council and, logically, my salary, as well as that of a councilor who would have a dedication of 50 years. What they do not count on is that they have submitted amendments to pocket, by UXA, € 7,700 per year in assistance and grants, and by the PP € 13,200 per year, they want to charge more than the councilors of the government team, who They have a much greater responsibility than they do, which is a shame and an indecency, "explains Ruipérez.
"They are very wrong with us if they think we are in the City Council for money, we have worked for four years without sparing any effort and charging quite discreet amounts, we just want to work for our neighbors, something that PP can not say. and UXA, according to the economic proposals presented jointly in writing, "continues Ruipérez.
"What we're not going to do is beg, because we do not need it, we're not here for money, it's a matter of dignity, not a privilege, to collect a salary or compensation for collegiate bodies, but if some want to do this, a weapon thrown at us, we will not allow it. "
For this reason, the following salary and compensation proposal has been sent to PP and UXA today:

- INDEMNIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANCE AT COMPLETE ORDINARIES: € 0 for all the councilors of the Plenary.
- COMPENSATION FOR EXTRAORDINARY FULL-TIME ASSISTANCE: € 0 for all council members of the Plenary.
- INDEMNIFICATION FOR ASSISTANCE TO THE BOARD OF GOVERNMENT: € 0.
- INDEMNIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANCE TO INFORMATION COMMISSIONS: € 0 for all councilors of the Plenary.
- SUBSIDIES TO POLITICAL GROUPS: € 0.
Fixed fee: € 0.
Variable fee (councilor / year): € 0 for all political parties and council members of the Plenary.
"Since PP and UXA are so concerned about spending on" solders ", we assume that they will accept this proposal without any problem," concludes Alguazas Mayor.
