The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify the causes of a fight that took place in Alguazas and in which firearms were used, which has resulted in the identification, location and detention of two people as alleged authors of the crimes of threats with firearms and public disorders.
Three weapons have also been seized during the arrests.
The proceedings began on July 20, when several residents of Alguazas warned of a quarrel among several people where firearms were reportedly being displayed.
Once at the scene, members of the Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita found that two men had allegedly threatened several people with a gun, a shotgun and a machete, resulting in several shots.
In the event, in which they were minors, a person was injured as a result of the impact of a bottle on the head.
The events gave rise to a notable social alarm among the population.
As a result of the investigation, the Civil Guard found out the identity of the two alleged perpetrators of the events and continued the investigations in order to clarify the facts.
Once all the necessary evidence was obtained, a search device was established on the suspects that has culminated, during the last days, with the location and detention of both Moroccans, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of threats with firearms and public disorders.
During the arrests, civil guards seized two air rifles and a shotgun that have been brought to justice.
Those arrested, the weapons seized and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Molina de Segura (Murcia).
