On August 30, ADEVA (Association of Students of the IES “Villa de Alguazas”) celebrated, with the collaboration of the Alguazas Town Hall, a solidary White Party in the municipal summer pool, in order to raise funds for the acquisition of school material in municipal public educational centers.
The total collection of the event amounted to 408 euros.
During this week, ADEVA members have handed over to the centers the money raised, distributed as follows: the IES “Villa de Alguazas” received 50% (204 euros), while the two public schools, CEIP “Monte Anaor ”and CEIP“ Nuestra Seora del Carmen ”received 25% (102 euros each).
The Councilor for Education and Youth, Victoria Cuello Medina, has highly valued this initiative of ADEVA youth, “since it is a sign of our youth's commitment to education and training in our town, and that is always a commitment to future.
