The Youth Correspondents program gathered last Saturday, November 16, more than 150 volunteers in San Pedro del Pinatar, who will participate in it during the 2019-2020 school year and that will reach about 80 educational centers in the Region.
This program, which is celebrating its twelfth edition, will gather the concerns and preferences of young people, as well as inform and disseminate the social, economic and cultural resources that, in the area of ​​Youth, are available in the region.
The program began a month ago with the campaign to recruit volunteers 'Correspondent is sought'.
Correspondents are selected in a coordinated manner between the educational center, with a tutor, and the municipal information service.
To be a youth correspondent, you must be enrolled in one of the centers participating in the program.
In addition, it is necessary to have availability to devote sufficient time to the development of this work, which consists of collecting the information provided weekly and attending courses, workshops, training sessions and exchanges and coordination meetings.
Likewise, the correspondent must show communication skills.
Those interested can register at their educational center or at the offices of the Youth Information Service of their municipality.
Alguazas currently has four correspondents, two at IES Villa de Alguazas and two at CES Vega Media.
The meeting was attended by the two correspondents of the CES Vega Media de Alguazas and staff of the youth area of ​​the City of Alguazas.
