The Civil Protection Group of Alguazas has been constituted today, in an assembly held at the House of Culture.
"We are very happy to be able to recover the local Civil Protection Corps, so that Alguazas has a new public service for the safety and well-being of our neighbors," says Soledad Bermúdez Pastor, Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Alguazas.
The local group will be launched with 10 volunteers, as indicated by the Mayor, Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver, in the constitutive session.
In addition, Antonio Alfonso Sánchez Cortés has been elected as head of the group, and Eva Sandoval Ruiz, municipal official, as secretary.
"Once the group is constituted, we will expedite the efforts to provide the volunteers with the clothing and regulatory material, as well as offer them the necessary training for the performance of their work," explains the mayor.
