Alguazas already has a Healthy Urban Route, which will be inaugurated next Thursday, December 26, at 5:00 p.m. in the Plaza Paco Serna, where its tour begins.
The route is designed to connect the Barrio del Carmen with the center of the municipality, allowing our neighbors to walk safely and healthily along a route marked by the streets of Alguazas.
This new infrastructure has been funded thanks to a grant of € 7,300 received from the Directorate General for Sports.
The project includes a series of actions such as road signs, the placement of information panels, the renovation of luminaries in poor condition and the adaptation of the itinerary so that it is universally accessible.
In addition, it is planned, as a healthy complement, the installation of a set of urban gym equipment at the beginning of the tour.
«This healthy Route will make Alguazas have a new sports infrastructure, which will allow us to enjoy our town while we exercise.
