The Association of Businessmen and Merchants of the Segura has summoned all the businessmen and neighbors of Alguazas on Saturday at 11:45 a.m. on the Soccer Field to protest against the layout of the Northwest Arc.
This Saturday, January 25, the businessmen and residents of Alguazas have an appointment on the street to protest against the layout of the Northwest Arc, works that are close to being started and that will leave the municipality isolated "as it will cut off the traffic of RM-531 and they have stolen our link that gave direct access from the municipality, so we will have no way to reach the highway ".
"It is an infrastructure that we have been waiting for decades for our municipality to grow industrially and demographically, but they have robbed us of that possibility and we cannot stand idly by while we see how they condemn the future of Alguazas for the rest of life," says José Gabriel García Barnabas, spokesperson for UxA.
The demonstration has been convened by the Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of the Segura (ASECOM) and will be its president, Eloy Jiménez, in charge of reading the manifesto that all protesters and businessmen will sign to transfer to local, regional and state administrations.
The march will begin at 11:45 am on the Soccer Field, and will reach the N-344.
"From UxA we will be together with the businessmen and neighbors to support this claim and join forces so that Alguazas has a direct access to the highway that allows us to grow and, therefore, leave the stagnation to which we are subjected for several decades."
