The Department of Culture of the City of Alguazas continues to offer, during this month of February, the best theater to the neighbors of our municipality.
The next appointment will be this Saturday, February 8, in which the company TEJUBA (Las Torres de Cotillas) will represent the hilarious comedy "The revenge of Don Mendo", by Pedro Muñoz Seca.
It will be at 20:30 at the Cinema-Theater IV Centenary.
This work recreates medieval Spain and is divided into four acts, in which word games and humor strokes abound.
"It is a reduction to the absurdity of the elements of historical drama for parodic purposes and elements of yesterday and the present are joined in obvious anachronisms, also making medieval characters move in a world dominated by the morality of Muñoz Seca's time," explains Joaquín Cantero, director of the company, the most veteran within the Murcian theater circuit.
Tickets, both in advance at the Municipal Library and at the box office on the day of the show, are priced at € 3.
