The City Council of Alguazas, through its Department of Employment and Local Development, directed by Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver, reports that this week two unemployed people in the town have started to work through the new Local Public Employment Program subsidized by the Service Regional Employment and Training and funded by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security.

The Local Public Employment Program is a program of the Regional Employment and Training Service aimed at improving and favoring the employment capacity of unemployed workers by subsidizing hiring unemployed workers for the execution of works and services of general and social interest during six months in collaboration with Local Corporations.

The current Local Public Employment Program is regulated by the Order of November 14, 2016, of the Director of the SEF, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies corresponding to the Local Public Employment Program and with non-profit entities.

And, specifically, through the Grant Grant Resolution program "Local Public Employment and non-profit entities, Local Public Employment subprogramme" corresponding to the 2019 call, dated December 20, 2019, which grants a grant to the Alguazas City Council, file 2019-02-62-0009, for the project “IMPROVEMENT SERVICE OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND MUNICIPAL FACILITIES OF ALGUAZAS�.

The project began on February 17;

It will last 6 months and involves the hiring of 2 unemployed people from the municipality, whose selection process was carried out directly by the Employment Office of Molina de Segura.

The total investment is 27,123.54 euros, which have been subsidized by the SEF and financed by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security.

«This project has as its object and result the realization of a series of masonry actions for the conservation and maintenance of public gardens and roads adjacent to them, as well as painting actions in municipal dependencies of municipal dependencies», explains the Mayor of Alguazas and head of the Employment Department, Blas Ángel Ruiperez Peñalver.

There are five unemployed people in the municipality hired by this job placement program in the 2019-2020 call.

Currently, 3 unemployed people from the municipality are working on another Local Public Employment project that began on November 11 and will end on May 10, and whose name is “ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICE TO TECHNICAL OFFICE AND ECONOMIC AREA OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ALGUAZAS "

The objective of this project is to greatly alleviate the accumulation of administrative tasks currently existing in the economic area and in the technical office, while facilitating the acquisition of work experience and improving the employability of unemployed people registered in the municipality. The Molina de Segura Employment Office through the execution of services of general and social interest, in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training Service.

The total investment of the project is € 26,286.45, of which the Alguazas City Council receives a grant from the SEF of € 25,000 also financed by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security;

The rest of the financial contribution will be borne by the municipal council (€ 1,286.45).
