Alguazas has today a new urban gym, located in the Plaza Paco Serna.
This installation is a healthy complement to the Healthy Route of Alguazas, inaugurated just a month ago.
This Route and its urban gymnasium have been executed thanks to a grant of € 7,300 from the Directorate General for Sports.
This urban gym is composed of four devices: two ellipticals, to favor the mobility of the upper and lower limbs and improve the flexibility of the joints;
a bicycle, with which to improve the flexibility and mobility of the lower limbs mainly;
and a "monkey bar", with which to perform suspension exercises for back, pectoral, abdominal, shoulder and other muscle groups.
In addition, the device area has been equipped with artificial grass, so that its use is more comfortable for the residents of Alguazas.
«We continue betting on sport as an activity to improve the health and physical conditions of the residents of Alguazas.
With this urban gym, our town has a healthy space that serves as a complement to the Healthy Route of Alguazas, which has its exit at the same point, ”explains the Councilor for Sports of the City of Alguazas, Juan Antonio Lpez Ribera.
