The Association of Businessmen and Merchants of the Segura (ASECOM) has requested the Socialist Party of the Region of Murcia (PSRM) for their collaboration so that the project of the Northwest Arc, which must connect the A-30 with the A-7, changes in its project the location of the access exit to Alguazas.
The president of ASECOM, Eloy Jiménez, met Thursday Thursday, March 5 with Alfonso Martínez, secretary of Municipal Policy, and Pedro López, secretary of Platforms and Social Movements, to request this request, which is supported by the full municipal of Alguazas full and the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure.
"We need a reasonable solution to the problem, since the current link is in the middle of nowhere and in the current project its connection with Alguazas or Campos del Río is not planned," says Jiménez, who was accompanied by several members of his association .
ASECOM has been very active in claiming an arrangement to this situation, which is causing great discontent between the alguaceño business and the general population of the municipality.
"It is not understood that this link is maintained at a kilometer and a half of the town, which means much more expenditure on expropriations and works to make the necessary connections to the MU-531. The most logical thing is to make the original link and take advantage of the current road that he already has all the easements and fix it definitively, "says the president of ASECOM.
For their part, representatives of the PSRM have stated that the change of location of the link is very complex and that it would delay the works two years.
"We have received your commitment that if the current project continues, this access would not be isolated and would be perfectly communicated with Alguazas and Campos del Río," says Jiménez.
A claim in which ASECOM only seeks the greatest benefit for companies and residents in the affected populations, and the use of such an important work for the development of the Region of Murcia.
