The alteration of order began in a house in the municipality of Alguazas, from where objects were thrown onto public roads
The now arrested, along with about twenty people, took to the streets and threatened and insulted Benemérita agents and the local police in Ceutí, Lorquí and Las Torres de Cotillas.
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has arrested an experienced criminal as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of public disorder, disobedience to law enforcement officers and damages, on the occasion of the events that occurred in the early hours of last Saturday in a neighborhood of the municipality from Alguazas.
The police action began during the early hours of last Saturday, March 21, when several residents of Alguazas alerted to a series of public disorders caused in a well-known neighborhood of the town by the residents of a house who were throwing objects onto the road public from their balconies.
Agents from the Benemérita and the local police from Ceutí, Lorquí and Las Torres de Cotillas, who were displaced to the scene, observed several people who, from the balcony of one of the buildings, were screaming and with loud music, in addition to numerous objects thrown on the street.
Given these facts, the agents requested that they depose their attitude, to which they entered the home.
Then, five people came down to the street in an aggressive attitude, carrying glass bottles, to which another twenty neighbors joined.
At that time, one of the subjects, in an aggressive attitude, confronted the agents, threatening them with death and trying to pounce on them while being held by several of those present.
The defiant and violent attitude of this individual continued, protected by the large group of congregated neighbors, reaching to hit several vehicles until a family member convinced them to return to their homes.
Recently, the police action has culminated in the arrest of a person - male, of Spanish nationality and with a police record for the crime of homicide, among others - as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of public disorder, disobedience to law enforcement officers and damages.
The arrested and the proceedings investigated were placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of Molina de Segura (Murcia).
