The Alguazas City Council has approved, through a Mayor's Resolution, a series of extraordinary fiscal measures in the face of the health emergency of COVID-19 (coronavirus), namely:
1) Tax procedures favorable to the taxpayer will not be suspended.
2) The payment period in the voluntary period will be extended until:
- On April 30, 2020 of the payment terms of the settlements (not receipts) already notified and whose voluntary period of entry has not ended on March 18, 2020.
- On April 30, 2020 of the notifications of the Award Providers whose entry period has not ended on March 18, 2020.
- On May 20, 2020 of the payment terms of the settlements (not receipts) that are notified as of March 18, 2020.
- On May 20, 2020, of the notifications of the provisions of Apremio notified after March 18, 2020.
3) The payment of the market rate is postponed for the first quarter approved by Mayor's Resolution No. 240/2020, whose end date was May 11, 2020, until a new date.
4) The period for the voluntary collection of the standard for the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles of the financial year 2020, approved by the Agreement of the Governing Board at its ordinary session of March 10, 2020, whose end date was May 15, is extended. 2020, until new date.
5) The payment of the Public Road Occupancy rate for restaurants and cafeterias is postponed until a new date, and compensation measures will be studied.
6) The income obtained from the fees and public prices of activities and services not provided related to the CAI, Nursery School and sports activities will be compensated or returned.
7) In the installments of payment and personalized payment plans granted before the state of alarm, whose account charge was scheduled for April 5, 2020;
as well as the payment of the Home Help Service is postponed to April 30.
8) The term to present an economic-administrative appeal or claim, of the acts notified before March 14, will start on May 1, 2020.
9) Suspension of face-to-face notifications during the period of the alarm state.
Electronic notifications may be made to legal entities, respecting the deadlines indicated in this Decree.
Electronic non-appearance will not produce notification effects.
10) Until April 30, 2020 regarding executive collection:
- No auctions will be authorized or held.
- No guarantees will be executed.
- There will be no garnishment of accounts or wages.
11) In relation to the procedures notified prior to the declaration of alarm status, they will last until April 30.
However, the procedures will be understood as completed if the taxpayer meets these requirements during this period.
Regarding the notifications made after the declaration of such status, their effects will be understood as extended until May 20.
