The Alguazas City Council will receive a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service that will allow the hiring of two unemployed people from the municipality.The new Local Public Employment Program 2020 aimed at unemployed alguaceños enrolled in the Molina de Segura Employment Office, promoted by the Department of Employment and Local Development, will allow two unemployed people from the town to have a job for six months.The program is entitled 'Administrative support service for the COVID-19 situation', with a total cost of 20,131.42 euros, of which the SEF, with the co-financing of the European Social Fund, contributes 17,000 and the City Council, with funds own, 3,131.42 euros.
The SEF, through the Molina de Segura employment office, awarded the grant, will be in charge of selecting those two workers."This project aims to fulfill the purpose of the program which is to facilitate the acquisition of work experience and the improvement of the employability of unemployed people in the municipality through the execution of services of general and social interest considering the current circumstances produced by COVID -19 in certain departments such as Social Services, in which it is necessary to alleviate the accumulation of existing administrative tasks ”, explains the Mayor of Alguazas, Blas Ángel Ruipérez Peñalver.
