| Councilor Díez de Revenga and the director general of Roads Fernández Lladó have been received by the Mayor at City Hall | Today, the Minister of Public Works, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, and the director general of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, held a meeting with the Mayor of the municipality, Silvia Ruiz Serna, the first Deputy Mayor, José Gabriel García Bernabé, and local entrepreneurs.
At the meeting held in the town hall, both the Councilor and the Mayor have promised to sign an agreement next week to manage the land for the arrangement of RM-531, a road that leads to Campos del Río.Both administrations have promised to streamline the procedures, since today the land has not been provided by the consistory, so that the regional highway can start the works as soon as possible.
This route will involve an investment of 900,000 euros, financed by the Ministry.The Councilor has also expressed his total rejection of the Arco Noroeste leaving Alguazas isolated and has promised to continue to press the regional government for the Ministry to modify the link.Some twenty businessmen from Alguazas, accompanied by Eloy Jiménez, president of ASECOM, have attended a subsequent visit by the Counselor and General Director to the place where alguaceños should have access to the Arco Noroeste.
Councilors María José Tornero and Jesús Gomariz have also been on the visit.
