The investigation began last December, when the Civil Guard found an increase in thefts in vehicles, most of them parked in community garages, and others on public roads in the municipality of Alguazas.

From that moment, the Civil Guard, in collaboration with the Local Police of Alguazas, established a series of police mechanisms aimed at preventing future robberies, while investigating the identity of the person who, continuously and systematically, had acted in the municipality creating social alarm in the neighborhood.
The investigation work was positive with the identification of an individual who appeared in the images captured by the security cameras of a building.
Citizen collaboration As the investigation progressed, a Citizen Security patrol was alerted to the location of a suspicious person inside a community garage.
The quick action of the neighbors, who went to the garage of their building when they heard the anti-theft alarm of a vehicle at dawn, allowed the patrol to arrive at the moment in which they tried to leave the premises by breaking the access door to the garage, after having violated the window of a car with a fire extinguisher.
That same building had been the target of other similar robberies in previous days.

The evidence obtained during the investigation phase has allowed him to be attributed the alleged responsibility of a dozen crimes of robbery with force and damage to vehicles, which occurred since last December in the municipality of Alguazas.
The 32-year-old male detainee of Moroccan nationality, together with the proceedings, was placed at the disposal of the Examining Court number 6 of Molina de Segura (Murcia).
