Taking advantage of the arrival of summer vacations for children, childcare Alguazas Reina Sofia is being refurbished to improve facilities and expand its number of seats.
In the municipal school will perform two works.
The first one has already begun and involves the rehabilitation and upgrading of the kitchen and dining room.
The government team has decided to allocate nearly 131,000 E Plan for funding this work.
Councillor for Education, Isabel Zamora, explained that this action is an example of a firm commitment that the government team is doing for education and recalled that last year also contributed a significant amount of E Plan for building two covers for the sports in the two primary schools in the municipality.
The second work to be carried out will begin in July when the children give vacation until September.
This project will renovate the kindergarten through the expansion of two units to offer places for 0 to 3 years.
The investment will be just over 204,000 euros which will provide fully the Autonomous Region through the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.
Isabel Zamora, explained that with this new expansion of seats, 200 seats have Alguazas kindergarten, twice he had when he started this term.
40 of these places are offered from the Centre for Child Care, which has two classrooms for infants and two children aged 1 year.
Alguaceña The mayor also noted that the works are expected to develop during the months of July and August and be completed by early September so as not to disrupt the normal functioning of the Infant School.
