Following the high demand of young alguaceños, the Department of Sports City of Alguazas has made great efforts to double the number of places for this summer 2010.
Multisport School which launches the Department of Sports City of Alguazas, has begun.
And it has a significantly higher number of students last year, and who have registered more than 70 kids, aged between 10 and 14 years, compared with about 40 of the past 2009.
Monday and Wednesday, students practice soccer and baseball, and other sports facilities in the Municipal Football Field of San Lorenzo and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the Sports Centre is the setting for activities such as soccer, handball, tennis , racquetball or basketball.
To finish the day, every day at 11:30 am, the Multisport School students travel to the facilities of the Municipal Public Pool for water activities.
As in previous years, the Sports Council has made available to all students a bus that transports them to the sports facilities.
School Hours Multisport 2010 is from Monday to Friday from 9:30 pm
to 13:30 h.
Next Friday will take place July 30 delivery of awards to all students at a party to be held in the Municipal Public Pool.
The Councillor for Sports, Alicia Parejo, has highlighted the great success they are having such activities even though this year due to construction of the heated swimming pool, children may not use the Municipal Covered Pavilion.
