The Group with Non Governmental Organization (NGO) EWB aim to deliver the copies to countries that are developing so that, in a cooperative and altruistic, they collaborate to raise the cultural level.
Thus alguaceño Consistory decided to start a collection of books from 11 October until 28th November between people who wanted to participate in this initiative.
Due to the success and acceptance of the campaign the council has extended the deadline until 5 November this year.
By the Local Administration disused books will be collected from the Municipal Library and schools in Alguazas.
People who are interested in participating should enter in a box all the copies they want to give away and drop it in the ecopark Alguazas, located in the street The Valencian industrial park "The Portichuelo."
Pickup times are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 16.00 to 19.00.
Also every Saturday is open from 11.00 to 14.00.
However Tuesdays and Fridays can be deposited in the mobile eco-park.
Tuesdays from 10.00 to 12.00 in the market and from 12.00 to 13.00 hours in the Santo Domingo plaza on top Huerta.
On Fridays from 10.00 to 12.00 in the market area in the square Paco Serna, and from 12.00 to 13.00 hours at the Civic Centre on the site.
