In the plenary on 25 November 2010, the PSOE Alguazas presented the following request:

The merchants of our town are suffering in recent days robbery with intimidation and violence, both in its stores and in their own homes.

In certain areas, these traders prefer not to give to the police for fear of reprisals.

Therefore, the council of the Municipal Group Socialist Councilman pray that Public Safety has the necessary means for that matched the time slot between 20 and 22 hours when the shops closed, there is a greater police presence around these, in order to protect their owners from possible robberies or vandalism.

This request has been sent to the Merchants Association Alguazas.
