Women's Association of Alguazas presented yesterday its new executive at the Plenary Hall of the City alguaceño.
The event was attended by members of the Association, and Municipal government as the local mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora, the Councillor for Equality, Dori Bermudez, and the Councillor of Finance, Alicia Parejo.
The new executive Alguazas Women's Association is formed by the President, Loli Lopez, Vice President, Joaquí Garcia, CFO, Marisol García, Secretary, Toni Carbonel, and Vocal, Lola López.
The presentation began at 20.00 hours with the participation of the five former occupants of the positions.
The Association president leaves office, Sacra Vicente, spoke a few words of support to women who took their new role and encouraged them to work for the Association.
After his speech, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, thanked the previous policy work and gave its support to the five women who have made a renewed executive of the Association.
So the Mayor stated that the City Council "shall have much interest in the whole process of renewal" because from the Municipal Government team is "the importance of the collective social life Alguazas as it is closely related to variables such as culture, sports, education, youth, among many others. "
Similarly, José Antonio Fernández Lladó argued the relevance of the Association stating that the town is an association of women with their own lives that offer a wide range of activities and training courses for women. "
For its part, the new charge was very enthusiastic and full of looking forward to their work.
Thus, Loli Lopez, as current president of the Women's Association, welcomed the decision of the office.
Also stated that the main goal since the group is to increase its number of members.
Similarly, the president of the Women's Association, explained that "before organizing activities" are going to hear "the demands of women and their concerns based on active offer to suit their interests," he added.
For his part, Councillor for Culture, Isabel Zamora, as a member and former secretary of the Association, recalled the beginning of the body in the municipality.
In this regard said that emerged in 1994 to "fill a space that was empty. The women of the time needed to organize a fun activity both as formative and maximum response was very positive from the alguaceñas."
