On February 10 militants were Alguazas PSOE extraordinary assembly convened to elect the candidate who will fight for mayor of the municipality in local elections next May 22, 2011.

Unanimously, the candidate chosen was led by Blas Angel Ruipérez, Secretary General and Spokesman Municipal.

Following the Assembly, the newly elected candidate thanked the attendees supported and encouraged all members and supporters to work with members of the local party executive in the organization of the election campaign.
