The Local Board held its traditional AECC and massive food charity.
Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) has organized its traditional charity dinner to raise funds for this cause.
The event was held at the hall's of Lorquí Kairo and has received great support from all attendees and they have almost reached 600.
Among those present were Mayor Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, accompanied by Council Training and Employment, Planning, Tourism and Civil Protection, Isabel Zamora, Javier Gambín, Silvia Ruiz, Fernando Almagro, respectively.
Also among the guests were members of various social groups as the Women's Alguazas association or club Aging alguaceño municipality.
The president of the local board of AECC, Antonia Oliva, explained that the main motive of this act is "to raise funds."
Money earmarked for "mammograms in order to detect early tumors, including for research and for families who are with someone in this situation and now are without financial resources," he argued Antonia Oliva.
Similarly, Antonia Oliva has been "very happy" with the large turnout and said he was "very pleased with the assistance of Murcia alguaceños and all" and wish that next year "were many more."
Also from the local board of AECC has organized a competition for bands Alguazas also beneficial in collaboration with the Town Hall.
The musical event will be held on March 6, Sunday at Municipal Hall.
