A group of twelve women received diplomas for their participation in the first course on "Training of carers of dependent people," hand of the Councillor for the City of Alguazas Equality, Maria Dolores Hernandez.
The course of 65 hours, was held from 2 to 21 February in the computer room of the municipal library.
During this period, attendees learned about the general aspects of dependence and the specific circumstances of each group, providing the tools and resources to help improve the quality of care for dependents.
The students also learned computer skills, counseling and career counseling.
The course, aimed at women aged over 65 years and rural women, is organized by the Department of Equality Alguazas City Council in collaboration with Coag, the association "Intergenerational Solidarity" and is subsidized by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, through the training program progresses Plan and funded by the European Social Fund.
