The government delegate in Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, chaired today by the Mayor of Alguazas, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, the constitution of the Local Security Board, which examined the coordination between the Police and Civil Guard in the township.

This was the first visit by Joaquin Bascuñana as government delegate in Murcia, Alguazas and the first visit in many years the central government representative made to the municipality.
The Local Security Board, which meets regularly, is a tool that aims to improve the protection of citizens.
Among its objectives, establish coordination procedures, assess the situation of public security in the town, develop security plans to propose priorities for action, devise ways to exchange information, cooperate and promote cooperation with the different social and agencies that affect the public safety of the municipality.
