The School Board CEIP Our Lady of Mount Carmel school denies dead rats in the vicinity of the school or complaints about rodent bites to children, so that demand for Alguazas Unit, to rectify his statements, expressed in various media communication, in which he denounced the abandonment of several solar neighborhood of Carmen that were giving rise to a plague of rats by the accumulation of dirt and grime.
During the regular plenary session held yesterday, the School Board the school, wanted to be heard through an official letter, which requested the representatives of UXA to correct their statements about the school and its environment.
The educational community, as well as the Councillor for Education of the City of Alguazas, Isabel Zamora Palacios, strongly denies that there rats in the school and noted the damage that is done both to the image of the school and the municipality.
The Minister of Education stressed the great work done from this school because not only the teaching staff but also the work done by the AMPA (Association of Parents) and that the neighbors could see during the open day that held last February.
Isabel Zamora said the gravity of the statements of the UXA that attempted to create an alarm condition during the period of enrollment of students who have tried to damage the image of the center and insisted, as the mayor of Alguazas, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó that must be rectified in the same media where you have poured the false accusations.
Zamora also urged caution and not used to the school as a political weapon.
Meanwhile spokesman for Alguazas Unit, Jose Gabriel Garcia Bernabe, acknowledged that the rat appeared in the photographs, did not belong to the school yard but the park of the Constitution.
The socialist municipal group made no statement on the matter and remained outside during the discussion of this topic.
