Eleven neighboring the town of Alguazas have benefited from socio-occupational workshop sewing and repairing of garments, promoted and developed jointly by the Department of Social Services, Senior Citizens and Equality of city council and the Association "Project Abraham", has consisted of both learning various sewing techniques and the handling of machinery and tools for the clothing repair.
Training in the spacious and versatile craft of sewing has been the main objective of this workshop, which held throughout the month of September in the municipal facilities Multipurpose Center "Paco Serna" in the town and with 40 hours of learning and practice, as their primary purpose has seen the social and occupational integration of people at risk and / or social exclusion.
While the City Council has provided Alguazas premises for the development of this course, the Association "Project Abraham" has provided for the same both industrial sewing machines and ironing as teachers.
