By Order of the day November 27, 2012, the Minister for Education, Training and Employment of the Regional Government and published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia for this Thursday, December 27th, the City will receive a total amount of aid 6944 euros to develop preventive measures, monitoring and control of absenteeism and dropout.
Thus, the regional government will finance the start-up of two sets of actions focused on one to promote the benefits and profits of existing Occupational Classroom locally (with a prize of 4,000 euros) while the other package of initiatives will affect the essence of the problem (with an amount of 2,944 euros) devising measures of prevention, monitoring and control of absenteeism and dropout.
These types of subsidies are in addition to those already granted to the City alguaceño and that will allow a total of 12 male and female students of Secondary School "Villa de Alguazas" are benefiting this year from 2012 to 2013 a large number of content Occupational Classroom launched by the Department of Education of the City, all thanks to a collaboration agreement signed for this purpose with the Education, Training and Employment of the Regional Government.
This project, funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Education within the framework of the Dropout Prevention, comes to be an extraordinary remedy of compensatory education in the municipality of Alguazas to be an opportunity to respond to the needs of educational of students with serious problems of adaptation to the educational system, and / or at risk of dropping out.
The Occupational Classroom develops their classes on the premises of that educational institution of secondary education of the population as well as public agencies Hall (Municipal Greenhouse and Workshop Welding Classrooms and Multipurpose Center Municipal "Serna Paco") also integrating technical faculty training that service of the above faculty IES.
The project also has the support of the management team of IES Alguazas villa of Technical and Community Services attached to this resource and municipal technical coordination that performs the necessary resources for the Classroom Occupational and monitoring of children participants therein.
The overall objective is to be achieved with this educational resource that will offer activities aimed at learning skills such as gardening, welding, language, math and physical education) is to avoid truancy and social exclusion, giving a second chance education to children within the education system.
