Barrio del Carmen Alguazas
The prestigious local cultural entity interpreted
a large repertoire of sublime choreography
before the large audience gathered in the Plaza Paco Serna Township
If there is one group that bears the name of Alguazas by countless stages across the Murcia region that is the Cultural Association "Between Waters" of the municipality.
Founded three years ago by a group of young people with proven vocation and feeling for the dance in its many facets and integrated as of today more than sixty people from both the town alguaceña as other neighboring villages (as Molina de Segura and Cotillas Towers), the name of the entity "Between Waters" becomes the Castilian translation of the Arabic toponym that names your local nursery, "Al-Waza".
The Cultural Association "Between Waters", successor of the legendary set Alguazas dance called "Athena", is chaired since its inception by the young but experienced dance teacher from the town Ana Belen Ruiz, director turn School Dance in the city bears his name.
And in this journey of proven performance quality in terms of choreography, the collective "Between Waters" played a year with his appointment at parties in their neighborhood of origin, Alguazas Carmen, and thus, the stage set to effect on the night of this past Sunday, July 7, at the Plaza Paco Serna of the town, hosted a fascinating spectacle of rhythm and musicality that sparked the emotion and feelings of the large audience gathered in that festive environment.
