This initiative, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and
Environment, was held from 22 to 24 October
in the town of Alcala de Henares
A group of five neighboring Alguazas met from 22 to 24 October, at the national meeting of women's associations "Ecomujer" that took place in the town of Alcala de Henares, is part of the proposals programmed under interregional project "Rural Women and Environment" funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
Over 350 women from different Spanish regions shared in the course of this initiative the experiences, activities, courses, workshops, and conferences that take place in each territory and influence their actions and projects undertaken has on rural women and environment.
Also conducted a presentation by Langreo Alicia Navarro, PhD and Chief Agronomist Sabora, SL, entitled "Environmental Experiences related to women".
In addition, attendees enjoyed leisure-tourism training activities, such as visits to the suburb of Loeches, New Interpretation Center Batzan or organic orchards Olmeda de las Fuentes and Alcalá de Henares.
The five alguaceñas present at this conference to exchange experiences on behalf of the Association of Women of the population and assigned to the Local Action Group Vega del Segura in Murcia, in the development of the event detailing the wide range of activities, in labor economic, environmental and training and with the collaboration of the Department of Equality of the Consistory, the largest female population of the municipality offer to ordinary citizens.
