"Your hands save lives" is the name to which the project responds preventive and sanitary measures as technical staff and volunteers of the NGO ASICAT (Association of Sanitary and Disaster Intervention) has developed in the afternoon of Wednesday, November 27, in Multipurpose Center facilities "Paco Serna" Alguazas.

Counting with the assistance of a remarkable number of neighboring locality, this free workshop first aid promoted jointly by the Department of Equality of city council and said collective solidarity, has been focused on the development of practices and recommendations for cardiopulmonary resuscitation have been useful for concurrence.

This rush initiative is one of many actions that NGOs ASICAT Alguazas held at the mercy of the degree of cooperation it has with the City of the population in order to launch a series of proposals for health, prevention, civil protection, ... , addressed to the ordinary citizen.

One of the flagship projects of greater scope and of ASICAT was the implementation of a Vocational Training Centre for Higher Intermediate and located in the industrial area, where Magalia Business Park, being equipped with laboratories, classrooms, training areas and offices.

After three years of operation, ASICAT has established itself in the field of vocational training, reinvesting the profits in expanding their goals and being as of today a clear benchmark of self-financing and sustainability towards the execution of projects direct action of social, health information, integration, among others, targeting the most vulnerable groups.
